You’ve narrowed down your goals, made lists, and you’re keeping your goals in front of you everyday. You’re taking steps towards creating the empire of your dreams.
Despite having goals, carrying around my planner, feeling prepared…sometimes I find myself second guessing all of that. Then I remember, I made these goals because I have dreams. And I know you have dreams too. Dreams to partner with Madewell for your dress line. Designing a jewelry line in your pristine beachside apartment (you know, the one with those stunning marble countertops?). Moving to New York and becoming the freelance illustrator that Anthropologie wants to collab with (all those amazing calendars, phone cases, journals. All the wants).
So today in part 3 in planning your goals, I’m talking about what you can do to get passed the doubts and the second guessing.
Give yourself just 30 days. Open up your planner and write in specific daily goals. It can be when you’ll write a blog post, your social media schedule, when you’ll need to buy supplies for a project, when you need to take pictures, etc.
Put your ideas in motion and let your followers (however big or small) mold it. They’ll like it, love it, share it, talk about it, or may even unfollow it. This will be eye-opening, spark ideas, encourage you to move forward, and be a daily reminder that your voice is being heard.
I promise, there’s power in putting your ideas into motion. In those 30 days, you’ll gain momentum and encouragement. After the 30 days, do it again. After 60 days, you’ll have a good idea of what is working or not and mold your own goals accordingly.
